first place

this deserves first place. i cant find one mistake in it. too bad getting first on the weekly top 5 is all about luck. anyways, great work.

great idea

the bass is here is awesome, not really smooth, but the composition is great. the guitar comes in nicely, and this would probably be great with some vocals. the only thing that distracts me is the softwar-ish feel. No, the synth near the end is awesome, but maybe the drums and the bass gotta sound more 'natural'. Find some people, and play this live, gonna make a nice piece. keep it up.

Quarl responds:

har, thanks. I know what you mean about the track sounding digital. I could get some kids to play this song for me, no problem, but getting a decent recording would be tough for us because were on a stiff budget (as in,...no budget at all.) Thanks for the review!

not bad

well, it's not necessarily grunge, might just go for hard rock as well, but its good nontheless. The (slap)bass was not very stable, but I myself ain't that good at playing real life instruments (hopefully will be someday), so I'm not the right person to judge that. Anyways, keep it up.

Scribbler responds:

Here is a little bit of trivia, I played the slap-bass on the same guitar I used to record this song. So I made my guitar sound like a bass. How badass is that? Still, that's probably why it sounded unstable. Thanks for the review though.

nice

the voice in the background is pretty atmospheric. also that shaky electronic sound coming at 1:25 mins is great. and the beat is good. well, keep it up!

SineRider responds:

thankies

trancy

this fits perfectly in the trance genre, goes for ambient too. would sound nice in a vid game. good job.

WoodFife responds:

Hey, thanks. I just posted this a couple of minutes ago, and I'm excited to see that I have 7 downloads already. Thanks for the feedback.

pretty good

this one is really well composed, you have a great melody going. The sounds could be better for a a perfect score, but I know that with software its very hard to make rock sound like it was played live (I had a similar problem with my 'Could It Be?' track). Any ways, great job. Keep it up.

kilder responds:

thanks!!

nice

the ambience is really good here. there are no 'empty spaces' which is good. did you get this from FLStudio? anyways, this would be excellent background music. keep it up, and check out my latest ambient if you want.

SineRider responds:

thanks man. I'll get to your stuff soon

good

sounds pretty ambient to me. this would be a cool soundtrack, like for some video game. anyways, good job.

TheOrichalcon responds:

Pretty much what I was going for. Thanks for the comment, gives me some inspiration to keep making tracks.

great

very emotional. damn, you've inspired me to make some more ambient myself. will be back with another piece soon :). keep it up.

RedHotPoker responds:

Yay. I inspired someone. It makes me happy inside. :)

Keep up the good work man your a superior artist to me in every respect.

immersive

that's what i love about ambience, it goes beyond the typical structuring of music. this is really interesting once again. i have one similar piece where i'm saying 'Why is a raven like a writing desk?' (from Alice in Wonderland)reversed, and then using sped up and slowed down samples i make a 'composition'. might post it these days. anyways, i'm happy to know that someone here values different methods of expression. keep posting stuff :)!

RedHotPoker responds:

Thanks man. Your far to kind to me. I'd love to hear this composition of your's i bet its so awsome i would die and be eaten by a undead sheep. Anyways. Thanks man your and awsome artist. Keep up the good work.

thanks for the reviews and ratings
